Auto Activations

Hyundai and Nissan frequently coordinated activations at football games, malls, and festivals.

At Synergy Marketing Partners I worked on over 20 auto activations in one summer, here are two examples of them.

Hyundai and the Minnesota Vikings
To honor the partnership of Hyundai and the Minnesota Vikings Football team we were given a 21’x12’ footprint in the U.S. Bank Stadium to present the new Hyundai 2018 Santa Fe. We worked with a Minnesota artist, Nate Schimelpfenig. to create a piece to graphically wrap the car with, while we designed the back wall and wheel stand.

Nissan Northern California
Similarly, Nissan needed a back wall for a small footprint in their Northern California locations, but we still wanted the spot to be interactive and fun! The back wall is made of magnets that you can take off and keep.

Responsibilities

Design
Incorporated more interactive ideas into a standard auto-activation by brainstorming with the in-house teams, outside vendors, and artist partnerships. Used these ideas to design the backdrops for the vehicles, as well as magnet designs.

3D Renderings
Used what we knew about the space, car specs, and our activation footprint to build out correctly proportioned blueprints. We also created 3D renders so clients can get a better understanding of how large the logos would be compared to the vehicles in front of them, to make sure the impact was balanced.

Print-Ready Documents
When all materials were approved we had to send over print-ready files. I created and confirmed that all graphics were the correct colors and resolution and coordinated with the vendors.
