Freeflow
Freeflow works with freelancers to help them safely land and maintain jobs, all through Discord.
Freeflow began when my friends and I noticed a surge in freelancing but a shortage of skilled, trustworthy blockchain developers. Hiring practices were also changing because of crypto, employing anonymous developers became common and hiring activity happened mainly on Discord. Even compensation looked different, payment for projects would be in equity tokens, which made freelancers invested in the success of their projects.
We developed tools to help blockchain talent land jobs and later expanded to other talent types. Tools included:

🏆 Freeflow now supports professional communities totaling 700,000 members and has enabled over 1,000 hires in its first two years! We also completed the Techstars Boulder Accelerator program in 2022.
Responsibilities
Design
Built out a playful and functional design system that connected the Freeflow aesthetic with Discord and the web3 space, but still stood out as our own tool.
🙌 Freeflow and its mascot Subby is now a well-known brand on Discord.

Designed the user experience and interface of the product and its tools, making countless data-driven product decisions.
